In July 2023, NASA took shipment of 3 completely electrical vans from Canoo Technologies after the business, a start-up based in Torrance, California, was granted the agreement the year before. At the time, NASA promoted its choice as concentrating on the “teams’ security and convenience en route to the [launch] pad.”
