In 2010, scientists at Purdue University and the University of New South Wales started an examination into a macabre concern: What’s the upper temperature level limitation at which people can endure? The response, according to their estimations, was 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 degrees Celsius) at 100 % humidity– a “wet bulb” temperature level that sets an outright “unsurvivable” limit for the body.
Beyond this temperature level, a waterfall of permanent physiological procedures starts, sending out organs into shock, triggering blood to embolisms and ending in unavoidable death.
