When you do not think in bacterium theory, the world is your oyster– or possibly your bath tub.

Over the weekend, America’s leading health authorities, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., shared photos on social networks of himself totally immersed in the sewage-tinged waters of Rock Creek in Washington, DC. His grandchildren were likewise visualized playing in the water.

The creek is understood for having a sewage overflow issue and positioning a health danger to any who enter it. The National Park Service, which handles the Rock Creek Park, strictly bars all swimming and pitching in Rock Creek and the park’s other waterways due to the contamination, particularly “high levels of bacteria.”

A notification on the NPS site recommends “Stay Dry, Stay Safe,” caution, “Rock Creek has high levels of bacteria and other infectious pathogens that make swimming, wading, and other contact with the water a hazard to human (and pet) health. Please protect yourself and your pooches by staying on trails and out of the creek. All District waterways are subject to a swim ban—this means wading, too!”

In images shared on social networks, Kennedy can be seen getting completely undersea, including his head, and after that wallowing with numerous of his grandchildren. Kennedy, who does not have any background in medication or science, was a veteran anti-vaccine supporter before President Trump selected him to be health secretary.
