Last month, Apple television launched a teaser for the 2nd season of Emperor: Legacy of Monsterspart of Legendary Entertainment’s MonsterVerse, which brought Godzilla, King Kong, and numerous other beasts (kaijudeveloped by Toho Co., Ltd into a shared story. We just got the most short lived look of the guaranteed brand-new legendary Titan threatening the human race. The complete trailer simply dropped and corrects that: it’s a massive tentacled undersea being called Titan X– and just Kong and Godzilla can stop it.

As formerly reported, the very first season got where 2014’s Godzilla ended, particularly the intro of Project Monarch, a secret company developed in the 1950s to study Godzilla and other kaiju— after efforts to eliminate Godzilla with nuclear weapons stopped working. In the S1 ending, Godzilla combat an Ion Dragon, tossing it through a rift back to the Hollow Earth, and Lee Shaw (Kurt Russell) apparently sacrifices himself to conserve his associates. Per the main Season 2 property:

Season 2 will get with the fate of Monarch– and the world– hanging in the balance. The significant legend exposes buried tricks that reunite our heroes (and bad guys) on Kong’s Skull Island, and a brand-new, strange town where a legendary Titan increases from the sea. The causal sequences of the previous make waves in today day, blurring the bonds in between household, good friend and enemy– all with the hazard of a titan occasion on the horizon.

In addition to Russell, returning cast members consist of Wyatt Russell (kid of Kurt) as the more youthful Shaw; Anna Sawai as Cate Randa; Kiersey Clemons as May; Ren Watabe as Kentaro Randa; Joe Tippett as Tim; Elisa Lasowski as Duvall; and Anders Holm playing the more youthful variation of Monarch scientist Bill Randa. Takehiro Hira, Amber Midthunder, Curtiss Cook, Cliff Curtis, Dominique Tipper, and Camilo Jiménez Varón will sign up with the S2 cast as visitor stars.
