Artemis II is the very first crewed spaceflight in NASA’s Artemis Program — a long-lasting project that intends to send out people back to the moon for the very first time considering that 1972.

Released into orbit by the 322-foot-tall (98 meters) Area Launch System and Orion team pill stack, the objective’s four-astronaut team will take a 10-day flight around the moon and back to Earth, evaluating crucial systems and studying the effect of spaceflight on human biology.
