
NASA’s Swift Observatory is set to come crashing down to Earth later on this year after a personal objective stopped working to conserve the toppling telescope.
A rescue spacecraft called LINK, which was created by personal business Katalyst Space, released on July 3 with the goal of raising the falling observatory to a greater orbit. In the weeks following launch, the rescue objective itself experienced issues and began drawing out of controlOn Wednesday (Aug. 19) NASA revealed that the rescue objective would not continue as prepared.
